A new study - EXCEL - is offering exercise programs for cancer survivors in smaller, rural, and remote communities across the province, which now includes Fort McMurray and Medicine Hat.

Eligibility

  • 18+ years of age

  • You can take part if you meet any of the following conditions: 

    • You are currently receiving cancer treatment (includes receiving ongoing hormone therapy)

    • You are within 3 years of completing cancer treatment ​

      • ​OR if more than 3 years since treatment, if you have significant, persisting issues related to your cancer and/or its treatments

  • You are able to speak/read English

  • You are able to participate in mild to moderate levels of exercise
